Medical School

	Joint Commission, National Committee for Quality Assurance(NCQA) and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care(AAAHC) accept as equivalent primary source.
	Includes Liaison Committee on Medical Education - accredited medical schools, as well as all schools attended.

Graduate medical education

	Joint Commission, NCQA and AAAHC accept as equivalent primary source.
	Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited postgraduate training includes dates attended, sponsoring institution, specialty and indicators for “incomplete" training segments

ABMS® specialty board certification

	The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS®) has designated the AMA Physician Profile as an Official Display Agent under Joint Commission standards
	The ABMS® accepts as equal to any other primary source or Official Display Agent
	NCQA and AAAHC accept ABMS® board certification as primary source

State licensure

	Accepted as primary source under Joint Commission's Credential's Verification Organization (CVO) standards
	Accepted data includes state of issue, date granted, expiration date, license type and notification of actions.
	Accepted by AAAHC

DEA registration

	Accepted as primary source under Joint Commission's CVO standards
	Profile includes status of registration and partial DEA number for identification
	Accepted by NCQA and AAAHC
